Sea Safari 8 e' lunga 34 metri e larga 10, costruita con legni locali nel 2003, ha 4 motori e naviga ad una velocita' massima di 10 nodi.

Sea Safari 8 offre comfort e classe come barca a vela lusso con moderni servizi. Basata al porto di Sorong, offre crociere subacquee e spedizioni di piacere a nord e sud di Raja Ampat.

Sea Safari 8 e' caratterizzata da un bel e spazioso salone con aria condizionata sul ponte superiore, ci sono poltrone, televisore a schermo piatto, lettore DVD, uno stereo, un vasto assortimento di film, CD e libri.

Fuori dal salone c'e' una zona all'aperto all'ombra di un tendalino dotata do comode poltrone, tavoli ed un bar che provvede fresche bibite o deliziosi drink da gustare con la vista del mare e delle Isole tropicali.

Sul ponte piu' alto si puo' prendere il sole comodamente sdraiati su comodi lettini.

Sea Safari 8 ha un indipendente ristorante sul ponte principale con aria condizionata e TV/DVD.

La zona dedicata alla subacquea si trova a prua sul ponte principale ed e' equipaggiato con postazioni individuali dove riporre l'attrezzatura, bombole e compressori per la ricarica.

Sea Safari 8 ha 12 cabine ed ospita un massimo di 24/25 passeggeri.

Tutte le cabine hanno bagno privato, aria condizionata, TV ed armadio.

North Raja Ampat 8D/7N

Number of dive include throughout the trip in 8 days ( 17 dives + 5 night dives + 2 trekking )

Day 1 : Sorong
Dive : Check Dive at Black Rock or Yum Slope
Arrive in Sorong at the newly built Dominique Edward Osok airport. Our representative will be waiting outside the arrival hall and ready to escort you to the ship for immediate boarding. Our Safety Briefing, Safety DVD, Crew Introduction, Necessary Dive Paperwork, Cabin allocation and ship orientation will take place before departing Sorong Harbour. During the journey to our first dive site take this opportunity to familiarize yourselves with the vessel and make yourself comfortable.

Day 2 : Penemu Island
Dive : 3 day dives + 1 night dive + trekking.
Melissa’s Garden, Barracuda Reef, Galaxy, Anita's Garden. All of these dive sites offer world class diving, fantastic corals and a huge amount of fish. Because the substrate at Melissa’s Garden is exceedingly delicate, absolute attention to good buoyancy is required. Also this is a good chance to trek to one of the most famous view points in the region.

Day 3 : Yanggefo Island
Dive : 3 day dives + 1 night dive
Myhem, Citrus Ridge, Gam Ridge, and Mangroves. This area offers some truely unique environments to dive in. The vibrant orange soft corals of Citrus Ridge provide a stunning back drop to this site, home to barracudas, bumphead parrot fish and sea snakes are common here. Myhem offers schools of bat fish, surgeon fish and snappers with the occasional Wobbegong sleeping under the coral heads. Gam Ridge is a good place to spot Eagle and Mobula rays. The Mangroves offer some stunning photo opportunities, diving late in the day around 4 pm when the sun is low in the sky gives some stunning shafts of light in the mangrove shallows.

Day 4 : Airborek Island
Dive : 3 day dives + 1 night dive
Manta Sandy, Manta Ridge, Airborek Island & Jetty. Manta Sandy and Manta Ridge are two of the most reliable Manta congregation spots in the Dampier Strait. Here you can look at the majestic animals somersaulting through the water while they are cleaned by several species of Wrasse and even Butterflyfish. The Jetty at Airborek offers unique photo opportunities of the long wooden pillars covered with soft corals and seafans, if your lucky the local kids will be at play, jumping in the water eager to get on your photo reel. Airborek Jetty offers one of the best night dives in Raja Ampat where Blue Ring Octopus, Harlequin Shrimp and Wobbegong are often seen.

Day 5 : Dampier Strait
Dive : 3 day dives + 1 night dive + trekking
Mikes Point, Sardine Reef, Mioskon and Friwinbondan. Before dive activities begin we have an early rise, we go in search of the Red Bird of Paradise at Sawingkrai Village on Gam. We then continue to Mike’s Point. Schooling sweetlips, patroling black tip reef sharks and interesting macro subjects such as small octopus and shrimp thrive in these craggy coral niches. Sardine Reef. Actually sardines are not found at this site but you won’t miss them. Fusiliers, Surgeonfish, Trevally, Rainbow Runners, Sweetlips and Bannerfish crowd the open water and swarm over a reef decorated with sea fans. Mioskon Reef is home to hundreds of lined snappers that usually cover the slope, schools of glass fish hide in coral bommies and Wobbegongs are very common here. Friwinbondan offers an good night dive with Nudibranches, many shrimps and if your lucky a Walking Shark (Epaulette shark)

Day 6: The Passage
Dive : 3 day dives + 1 night dive
The Passage, Kabui Bay One of Raja Ampat’s most celebrated dives, The Passage is a winding waterway that separates Gam from Waigeo.This narrow river-like saltwater channel runs primarily east to west,stretching from kabui bay to open ocean. Caves full of bats and other caves with collapsed roofs allowing the sunbeams to shine through thus making stunning photos. The easy shallow dives in the eddys provide hiding places for Archer fish, Half beaks. Picturesque Dragonettes and a plethora of Nudibranches. It's easy to make 4 very different dives in this area.

Day 7 : Kri island
Dive : 2 morning dives
Cape Kri, Cape Mansuar, Located in theÂÂÂÂÂ Dampier Strait on Mansuar & Kri Islands. This site is one of the top dives in Raja. Cape Kri is recorded as having the most amount of fish species counted on a single dive by reknown icthylologist Dr Gerald Allen. Cape Mansuar is not far behind with large schools of barracuda, surgeon fish, bumphead parrotfish and many friendly turtles. A perfect way to end your trip.

Day 8 : Sorong
Dive : no dive After breakfast, prepare for disembarkation. Be ready to leave the boat and you will be transferred to Sorong Airport. Your diving journey has ended and we shall look forward to welcoming you onboard again.

Raja Ampat 7D/6N

Diving days: 5 days (18 dives)

Day 1. (0 dives)
5pm. Arrival from Jakarta, Makassar, or Manado to Sorong. On arrival our staff will meet you at Sorong Airport to assist you and transfer to Black Manta. Once all guests are onboard you will receive a very warm welcome, briefing, dinner, then we set sail to Raja Ampat.
Day 2. (4 dives) Yanggefo Island, Citrus ridge, Mayhem ridge, Manta Sandy, & night dive.
Day 3. (4 dives) Mansuar Corner, Cape Kri, Sardine Reef, & night dive
Day 4. (3 dives) Blue Magic, Mike Point, Mioskon, and then sail overnight to Misool.
Day 5. (4-5 dives) Boo Island, Boo Corner, Magic Mountain, & No Contest.
Day 6. (2 dives) Nudi Rock, Tank Rock, and then sail back to Sorong Port. Plenty of time to wash & dry equipment, have lunch, and rest & relaxation.
Day 7. (0 dives) 7am. Check out after breakfast, farewells, and transfer to airport. Departure from Sorong to Manado or Jakarta or Denpasar.
