Barca

Avalon Fleet I e' una barca in acciaio con motori diesel lunga 32.6 metri e larga 7 metri, qui ogni spazio e' stato creato per dare ai suoi passeggeri il massimo del comfort e sicurezza.

La zona relax e' un salone con diversi ed invitanti divani con cuscini ed un tavolino, una postazione con computer dove poter scaricare le foto, un tavolo in cristallo con sedie dove si puo' mangiare ed un bar con sgabelli.

Sul ponte superiore c'e' la zona pranzo completamente all'ombra, una parte e' costituita da ivani e tavolino, mentre per mangiare c'e' un grande tavolo in legno, anche qui non puo' mancare il bar dove vengono serviti i famosi cocktail cubani.

Dietro il bar c'e' la cabina di comando, un bagno e le cabine dell'equipaggio. Alla fine del salone c'e' una scala che porta al sun deck dove c'e una fantastica jacuzzi, materassini, sedie, una griglia e naturalmente una vista mozzafiato.

I pasti sono normalmente servito sul ponte superiore all'aperto dove si viene accarezzati dalla brezza, la cucina e' internazionale con diversi piatti italiani e cubani.

Avalon Fleet I ha un eccellente chef, la giornata inizia con una sana colazione, il pranzo e la cena sono a base di pesce e dove l'aragosta la fa da padrona. Per chi vuole qualcosa di diverso e' disponibile anche la carne. Insalate e frutta vengono serviti ad ogni pasto. Per i piu' golosi ci sono torte, creme e biscotti. Coloro che hanno una dieta particolare possono richiederla in anticipo.

Tutte le cabine hanno aria condizionata , TV, telefono ed armadio.

Important Note:

• All the cruises start on Saturday and end on Friday.
• Clients have to be at least one day before in Havana, because the transfer is at 04:00 am on Saturday.
• Clients will have to spend at least one night in Havana, as we arrive back from Jardines at 09:00 p.m. on Friday.

Expectations

The liveaboard trip will take you to the untouched waters of Jardines de la Reina Marine Park, south of the Gulf of Ana Maria.

You will experience diving and relaxing in the turquoise waters of this Marine Park, in addition to beaches and virgin underwater paradises. Will dive with 30 sharks 10 centimeters away from your mask with absolute safety while the chef is preparing the best seafood in the world, 5 minutes away.

Experienced Diving Instructors will be by your side in every dive. A marine biologist will be available for talks and lectures. Underwater photographers and cameramen will be available on demand.

Professional crew will be giving you the personalized attention every minute, in addition to the warmth and friendly way of the local mixed with the highest European quality standards and infrastructure.

You will wake up in a luxurious cabin and look through the window: all you will see are lonely white sand beaches and blue waters. There is no one else there!! Only the boat in many miles of mangrove keys, beaches and rocky islands. No other boats, nobody else is diving.

This luxury live-aboard stays in exclusive loneliness, 60 miles off the country southern coast, in an unforgettable diving week. You will have spectacular diving and desert beach sunsets, will wake up with the sharks, enjoy a night party of “dancing to salsa with the groupers”, make a grill at the beach and do many other activities... and of course will taste excellent local cocktails.

Trip are as follows:

Saturday : Early morning pickup from Havana at around 4 am. Transfers out to Jucaro Port onward to Garden of the Queens.
Sunday through to Thursday : diving 3 times a day.
Friday : Sail back to Jucaro for transfer back to Havana.

Daily routine

Diving schedule is usually at the discretion of the customers following the instructor’s suggestions with 2 or 3 daily dives.

The day begins with a wakeup call at 7:00 am, coffee/tea ready, breakfast at 7:15 am. Our diving instructors are ready to go diving from 8:00 am. Fast diving boats are used to reach diving spots having the opportunity to explore different sites each day and enjoy the view of mangrove channels, virgin beaches, birds and other exuberant fauna during the trips. There is no chance for loneliness; dive guides and crew are available every single minute.

Our group guarantees all the equipment required to ensure safety (First Aid kits with O2 on every boat, excellent communications with mother boats and mainland, life jackets, etc.). The first morning, check-in dive to get acquainted and make sure all equipment is in good shape.

During the briefings, our experienced instructors will explain every detail of the dive, from what will be seen in a particular spot to the correct behavior while diving with sharks or highlights of the area and special characteristics of the marine life present. After the first dive, surface interval in one of the beautiful beaches. Second dive and, at midday, boats will return for lunch.

Together with the instructor, arrange time for afternoon dives or for excursions through the lagoon and mangrove channels. Coming back to the live aboard, it is time to drink a frozen “mojito”, enjoy the afternoon pizza and talk about the dives. Around 8:00 pm, dinner is served and, like a family, everyone gets together around the table.

The staff will be in contact every minute to assist and receive special requests or suggestions. Evening time next to the bar, to watch photos and videos while breathing the sea atmosphere, it’s time to plan with the instructors what will happen next day.

In Jardines de la Reina, our season is year round.

A normal week includes 15 dives from Sunday to Thursday; return to the mainland is on Friday. It is possible to book extra dives on request.
