Barca
Ambai e' una barca lunga 32 metri ed opera dal luglio 2012, e' stata costruita a Sulawesi con legni particolarmente resistenti ed e' stata concepita per i subacquei in modo da potergli offrire il massimo comfort
La Ambai ha un salone con aria condizionata dove poter pranzare e cenare, si trova anche una TV ed un lettore DVD, uno stereo e vari libri.
A prua si trova una zona all'aperto, una parte coperta e' fornita di poltrone molto comode e quella al sole di pouf, al ponte superiore, sempre a prua, si trova il sun deck con panche con cuscini e pouf.
I fotografi potranno godersi la cabina dedicata per la manutenzione e preparazione delle loro fotocamere e potranno vedere le foto nel grande schermo del salone.
A poppa si trova il ponte diving con una piattaforma che offre un accesso facile e diretto ai tre tenders che portano i sub nei vari punti d'immersione. Ogni sub ha la sua cesta per riporre l'attrezzatura, vasche per il loro risciacquo e docce d'acqua dolce.
Ambai ha a disposizione 4 guide locali ed un istruttore occidentale che vi porteranno sott'acqua alla scoperta dei Mari indonesiani.
Cabine
Ambai ha 8 comode cabine e puo' ricevere 16 sub in assoluto comfort. Tutte la cabine hanno aria condizionata, bagno privato e doccia con acqua calda.

Itinerari (V.O)
12 days / 11 nights - Raja Ampat
The trip starts and ends in Sorong, include min. 33 dives.

Day 1 :Guest reception at Sorong airport, transfer to the boat, Check in, welcome drink, briefing, departure in the evening. According to weather forecast, we will start the tour by the south or the North. In this schedule, we present the option starting with the South. Over night Navigation through Sele Strait to reach the East of Misool. Arrival in the early morning.
Day 2 :In East Misool you will discover 3 fantastic dives: No contest, Love potion, 3 Rocks. Rocks with vertical walls and fantastic coverage of soft corals, lot of fishes with schools of Platax, aggregations of snappers, bump head perrotfishes. We spend the night in the hidden lagoon, a very special anchorage inside an almost closed bay surrounded by high rocks. From the boat, we can hear and see the cacatoes before the night falls. We will go with the dinghies to have a look to another lagoon located further into the rocks.
Day 3 :After a short morning navigation, we reach Misool South East and start another great day of diving in the vicinity of Misool eco resort: Boo Rocks with 2 large openings windows in the rock that completely pierce the island from the surface to 5 meters deep, Fiabacet, Fantasea. Again an explosion of colors and fish density. In the evning, we rganise a dinner on the beach of a small island.
Day 4 :Misool east. Mode dives in Misool, Yellit kecil, a great wall with excellent fans and soft corals, tank rock, Nudi rock. Night navigation to Penemu and Fam islands.
Day 5 :Penemu North, Barracuda, a long oval shaped reef with great aggregations of fishes (barracudas, fusiliers and banner fish), Galaxy, a large reef with excellent fish life , Melissa garden an extraordinary site for it’s hard corals stands. Night navigation to Aljuy bay.
Day 6 :After an early morning dive at Mayhem, a very high voltage submerged reef, we enter in Aljui Bay, a 20 kilometers long indentation on the western side of Waigeo. We do 2 dives in the bay (wofoh and Intersection), then one of the best night dives of the Raja Empat under the peer of a pearl farm that is settled there.
Day 7 :We still do 2 dives in the Aljuy bay, Aljui 1 and the Channel. Between these 2 dives we will have a short visit to the pearl farm if their work schedule allows it. Night navigation to Wayag islands.
Day 8 :Wayag, the northern point of our cruise is a fantastic quartz islets labyrinth. We dive Quoy, Cathedrale rock and Wayag ridge. In the late afternoon, we climb a small mountain to admire the wonderful landscape of the area.
Day 9 :After a first dive in Wayag (figure eight), we go to the Kawe island where we dive Black rock and eagle rock. Night dive. Night navigation to Dampier strait.
Day 10 :A first morning dive at Citrus - at the entrance of the Dampier strait, a channel with sloping sides covered of soft corals and life- then dive with a reliable manta ray congregation at manta sandy. The third dive will be the famous Cape Kri, one of the largest concentrations of big fish on northern Raja Ampat; schools of trevally, barracudas, bannerfish, sweetlips. Night dive
Day 11 :Two other famous and fabulous dives in the Dampier strait, Chicken reef and sardine reef. The boat will then sail back to Sorong where it will arrive during the evening.
Day 12 :Breakfast, Check out according to guest flight schedule. Transfer to the airport, check in assistance.

Baia di Triton
Best time for diving
November to April, most liveaboards visit Triton Bay during the Raja Ampat diving season, as from June the winds and rain can cause unpleasant sea conditions. However, rain is possible in West Papua anytime, not just in rainy season.
Some sites are subject to strong currents here, and the visibility in Triton Bay might change abruptly. Rarely exceeding 20 meters, it can lower to less than 10 meters, especially after a lot of raining in Triton Bay. Most of diving is shallow dives, no more than 35 meters.
About temperatures
Air : generally ranges between 25°C - 31°C year-round.
Sea : averaging around 26°C - 27°C from May to October, 29°C - 30°C from November to April.
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 mm full wetsuit for November to April, a 5 mm full wetsuit for May to October.
Diver requirement
Suitable for most divers, however, on a number of sites in Triton Bay, a certain level of currents is necessary to attract interesting fish activities. So divers should be ok with the currents. You can find out more informations about diving in Wakatobi here : Triton Bay
Embarkation / Disembarkation
The nearby airport is Kaimana airport (KNG) in West Papua. However, liveaboards may utilize different ports depends on the itinerary, as often liveaboard trips will combine Triton Bay with other destinations like Raja Ampat, Banda Sea, so please ask our agent to know the exact port for your trip.
Visa Requirements

Mare di Banda
Best time for diving
October to November & March to April, the seas are generally calmer during these months and in October to November there is higher chance to see hammerhead sharks. From May to August the surface conditions can get quite rough.
The visibility is generally good to excellent in Banda Sea areas, except in Ambon bay and in other bays for critter dives. Currents are low to moderate on most of the sites, however, strong currents may occur at times.
About temperatures
Air : range between 25°C - 31°C year-round.
Sea : range between 26°C - 29°C year-round.
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 - 5 mm full wetsuit throughout the year.
Diver requirement

Periodo : La stagione per le crociere e' tutto l'anno. La migliore stagione e' da dicembre a marzo con la miglior visibilita'. Molte barche evitano Raja Ampat da meta' luglio a meta' settembre a causa della probabilita' di trovare forte vento con onde e pioggia.

Acqua : La temperatura dell'acqua e' abbastanza costante e calda tra i 27 e 29 gradi.

Halmahera
Best time for diving
October to November and March to May, Halmahera can be dived all year round, but due to the monsoon season, from June to September it can be windy and the sea can be rough. And from December to February is considered as the rainy season.
Visibility is usually very good, ranging from 20-30 meters, Inside the bays the visibility may be less. Currents can be strong in the straits, weak in the areas protected by the islands.

Air : generally ranges between 25°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : it is warm all year round, about 27°C - 31°C
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 mm full wetsuit throughout the year.
Diver requirement

Embarkation / Disembarkation
Depending on which itinerary you choose, the embarkation / disembarkation can be in Bitung > Manado (MDC), Ternate (TTE), Bacan (LAH/WUB), or Morotai (OTI). The international airport with the best connections is Jakarta (CGK). You can also route through Bali (DPS) if you prefer.
However, some liveaboard trips will combine Halmahera with other destinations like Sulawesi (Lembeh), Raja Ampat, then the embarkation and disembarkation will be different. So please ask our agent to know the exact port for your trip.

Clima : Manado ha un tipico clima equatoriale, la stagione delle piogge va da novembre ad aprile e la stagione asciutta da maggio ad ottobre. La temperatura rimane costante tutto l'anno con una media tra i 23 e 30 gradi.
Acqua : La temperatura dell'acqua e' costante tra i 27 e 29 gradi (scende a 25 gradi nello Stretto di Lembeh a luglio/agosto).
