Wellenreng e' un moderno due alberi che e' un piacere per gli occchi per la sua bellezza ed ha tantissimo spazio e i migliori comfort che una barca moderna possa dare. Completamente costruita con legni pregiati e resistenti come il teak.

Wellenreng ha un grande salone con aggiunto un piccolo bar con caffe', te' e bibite rinfrescanti disponibili per tutta la durata della crociera. Qui avvengono i briefing pre-immersione.

Alla sera si possono vedere dei film o le foto della giornata sul televisore a schermo piatti 42", ascoltare della musica dalla postazione iPod. Per chi desidera una serata piu' tranquilla puo' prendersi un libro dalla fornita biblioteca.

Il largo solarium e' l'ideale per bagni di sole o per rilassarsi sulle comode sdraie all'ombra.

Wellenreng e' equipaggiata con moderni sistemi di navigazione e sicurezza come zattere di salvataggio, gps, sonar...Tutto l'equipaggio e' stato addestrato alle emergenze ed al primo soccorso, il capobarca fara' un briefing su tutte le procedure.

Pe rendere le immersioni il piu' comodo possibile i subacquei hanno a disposizione un dinghy di 6 metri in fibra di vetro, le attrezzature sono messe a bordo dai marinai per il massimo comfort.

I sub avranno con loro il sistema radio/gps Nautilus Lifeline sempre con loro ad ogni immersione.

Tra una immersione e l'altra ci sono un sacco di attivita' come: snorkelling, kayak, pesca fuori dal parco, montaggio nel salone dei video o fare una escursione o un'arrampicata a terra.

La giornata inizia con l'aroma del caffe' Indonesiano e del pane appena fatto e della frutta fresca. Durante il giorno lo chef si prendera' cura di tutti gli ospiti cucinando piatti locali e di cucina internazionale, naturalmente non potra' mancare il pesce.

Cabine

Wellenreng ha 3 cabine ed ospita un massimo di 6 passeggeri subacquei o 7 non subacquei.

Tutte le cabine hanno bagno privato con doccia calda, aria condizionata, oblo', armadio, prese di corrente ed ubicate sul ponte inferiore.

Komodo 10D/9N

Day 1
At noon, following a short flight from Bali, you land at Labuan Bajo, the most westerly port on the beautiful island of Flores. We will be waiting for you there to take you to the harbour where our crew will welcome you on board our ship, the Wellenreng.

Following refreshments and a short tour and explanation about the ship, your safety on board and the plan for the day, we set off in the direction of Sebayar, the first of many islands and atolls in the Komodo National Park for a trial dive to check materials and equipment. After a snack a second dive can be organised if you wish, before we move on to the next island. In the evening we return to Sebayar where anchor overnight. After dinner you can dive by moonlight or enjoy a relaxing evening under the stars of the Indonesian night sky.

Day 2
The morning starts with a light breakfast followed by the first dive of the day in the waters close to where the ship is anchored. A substantial brunch will then be served while we sail westwards.On the way we stop at one of the one of the most famous places to dive in Komodo, Batu Bolong. Whille we take a closer look at the steep cliffs that characterise the diving site, lunch will be prepared. The third dive takes us through the currents that flow around the stunning Makassar-Reef. Then after a substantial supper there is even the possibility to go night-diving for those who still have energy.

Day 3
In the morning we start with a visit to the “cliff with the hole” (Batu Bolong) and after brunch we try our luck in Tatawa Kecil, a wonderful coral garden, where even the currents that sometimes flow cannot spoil the beauty of the reef. While you eat lunch the Wellenreng sails southwards to the bay of Komodo. We drop anchor near the reef at Pink Beach giving you the opportunity to explore this beautiful reef and also the possibility of a night dive among its corals.

Day 4
In the early morning we sail to the island of Padar. After an extensive breakfast, we visit the diving spot Three Sisters where three impressive columns of rock rise out of the deep and the sea is populated by numerous species of coral-dwelling fish. After a short rest we dive again to explore the waters of Pillarsteen, another well-known diving site in Padar, before enjoying a late lunch while the Wellenreng heads southwards. If the currents are favourable, our next dive will take place at the southern cape of Komodo. Here it is also possible to come across sharks and other larger species as well as typical coral-dwellers, making the dive particularly stunning. As ever, a night dive can be arranged if desired.

Day 5
Today we focus on the top diving spots south of Komodo. After breakfast we travel by speedboat around the cape to dive at Manta Alley without a doubt the best place to see Manta ray. We return to the ship for lunch and after a well-deserved rest, we dive once more in the waters off Cape Komodo. A night dive brings the day to an end.

Day 6
After an early morning dive you enjoy a leisurely breakfast while the Wellenreng sails onwards to the most southerly bay on the island, Rinca. The bay offers sheltered anchorage and excellent opportunities to observe local wildlife like Komodo dragons, monkeys, deer, wild boar and birds. Canibal Rock is a truly impressive diving spot. Its coral is populated by an amazing variety of fish. Their numbers are often augnented by visitors from the pelagic zone giving you a good chance also to see species from surface waters. After lunch we move on to Torpedo Point, a spot where it is often possible to observe many different species of large fish. The day ends on a high point with a night dive at Canibal Rock where we may have the opportunity to encounter species rarely seen elsewhere.

Day 7
Before breakfast we dive for the last time in the region. We then set off towards the northern end of Komodo. If the current is not too strong we will stop on the way to dive at Batu Tiga or in Crazy Rock. In the afternoon after a relative long journey we reach one of the most beautiful diving areas in Komodo. Here it is possible to encounter reef sharks, shoals of Giant Trevally, Manta rays and dolphins - many very good reasons to explore this region in some detail.

Day 8
Day 8 gives you the chance to explore the region further and visit diving spots like Crystal Rock, Castle Rock, Cauldron, Golden Passage and Lighthouse. Weather permitting the choice of diving spots and number of dives is yours. If after a day's diving you still have energy, there is the opportunity to climb up a small mountain on a nearby island and capture the spectacular views of the sun setting over Komodo on celluloid or digital memory.

Day 9
After an early morning dive in the region we set off in the direction of Rinca, the second largest island in Komodo. On the way we explore for the final time the waters of Batu Bolong before visiting the Komodo dragons which live on the island. We will be accompanied on our short nature tour by a guide who can provide interesting insights into the life of these fascinating creatures.

Day 10
In the early morning we head off in the direction of Labuan Bajo. After brunch it is time to leave for the airport and a wonderful holiday is at an end.
