Barca

Sharifa e' una barca progettata specificamente per offrire crociere subacquee alle Maldive, e' stata completamente rinnovata e migliorata nell'estate 2015.

Sharifa misura 32 metri di lunghezza e 7 di larghezza, ha 4 graziosi ponti con diverse aree comuni che danno spazio sufficiente a tutti gli ospiti a bordo.

C'e' un grande salone con aria condizionata che viene utilizzato per rilassarsi, leggere un libro o bere una bibita al bar, il salone ha dei tavoli con sedie che vengono utilizzati per mangiare.

Sul ponte superiore c'e' uno zona all'ombra con dei divani e dei tavoli, presente anche un solarium nel punto piu' alto della nave dove gli amanti del sole potranno goderselo accomodati su degli sdrai.

Con un totale di un equipaggio di 13 persone esperte e ben addestrate, i clienti avranno sempre un sorriso ed una personale attenzione. Le immersioni vengono condotte dalla barca appoggio dhoni dove vengono posizionate le attrezzature dei clienti e dove sono presenti le bombole, i pesi ed i compressori per la ricarica.

Usando il dhoni vorra' dire che ci sara' maggior spazio per i passeggeri, piu' silenzio e pace.

Cabine

Sharifa ha 9 cabine che ospitano 18 passeggeri ed un massimo di 23 passeggeri per le crociere private.

Tutte le cabine hanno bagno privato con doccia calda, aria condizionata, asciugacapelli, armadio e spine 220 V a spine UK type.

7 Cabine Standard: 1 letto matrimoniale, 1 singolo a castello, oblo' ed ubicate sul ponte inferiore.

2 Cabine VIP Seaview:1 letto matrimoniale, finestra panoramica ed ubicate sul ponte superiore.

Immersioni

• 3 immersioni al giorno ed 1 notturna durante la settimana, dipende dalla rotta e dalla condizioni meteo.

• Nessuna immersione il giorno dell'arrivo e della partenza.

• Tutte le immersioni sono guidate da guide professioniste.

There are three distinctly different types of diving: inside the atolls, outside the atolls and inside the channels or passes, which is where the currents are strongest and you'll find the greatest congregation of fish life. Most intriguing are the cleaning stations, found around every corner and under every ledge. Groupers, Snappers, Surgeonfish, Eels, Parrotfish, even Giant Napoleon Wrasse park casually in corners, oblivious to all, (including cameras) while armies of wrasse, shrimp and other assorted cleaners pick at debris in their open gills and cavernous mouths.

The big attraction, however, are the schools of fish that patrol the reefs in colorful packs: Humpback and Black and White Snappers, Trevally Jacks, Barracuda, Batfish, Unicornfish, Yellowback Fusiliers and Harlequin Sweetlips almost comical in design. The reef's larger inhabitants, including sharks, rays and occasionally even Whale Sharks, are often seen cruising in the blue.

Price includes:
Room accommodation on the boat, all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), snakes, water (from a dispenser), hot drinks, return transfers to the boat from Male International Airport on scheduled departure and return dates, 3 dives a day except the last diving day, 2 experienced English speaking dive guides, tank, weight and weight belt, Maldives Bed Tax, GST.

Price NOT includes:
scuba equipment, dive computer; Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, and Chinese New Year Eve gala dinner supplements at an extra charge of US$60 per person per event; Maldives Green Tax ( US$6 per person per night), Single occupancy of a cabin needs to pay extra 70% of the price. Onboard soda and soft drinks, beers, spirits and other alcoholic drinks.

How to Get There:

Sharifa liveaboard tours usually depart from and return to Male.

The first and last nights of every cruise are spent in the harbour unless all guests arrive early and the boat can depart on arriving day. The last dive of the trip will be at around 10 am on the second last day of the trip. Please wait at least 24 hours before flying after diving.

Please inform us your arrival date, time and flight number at the time of your booking, or at least 2 weeks before your arrival.

If you arrive the same day as the safari boat departs, our staff will meet you at the Male International Airport and transport you to the safari boat. We can help to book an accommodation for you in Male or other islands, if you may want to spend a day or two before or after your safari trip.

We can provide free transportation to/from the airport if you stay in Male or Airport Island. A small charge may apply if your hotel is on other island.
