Descrizione

Boat

Nataraja was built in 2015, measuring 32m in length and 6.1m in width, with average cruising speed at 7 knots per hour. This elegant vessel has been especially designed for families and friends who pursue the spirit of freedom, curiosity and passion.

Nataraja offers exotic and luxurious living conditions, with exquisite attention to the design details on board, perfectly embodying the spirit of relaxed tropical life at sea. It boasts an open living and chill area at the stern of the main deck which is totally open hence allowing you to relax while being at the heart of Nature and as close to the iconic sea and landscapes of Indonesia as you can hope to get.

The dining area being fully open on the ocean too, you will never miss the chance to see dolphins, mantas, whales, sharks or turtles passing by! The chef proposes for each meal a selection of exquisite dishes, mixing western and Asian flavors.

Nataraja also has a comfortable sundeck with fabulous 360° sea views to relax on during the day, share friendly moments with friends and co-travelers and from which to enjoy gazing at the star-filled tropical skies at night.

Nataraja equipped with 2 tender boats, allows to split the group depending on the interest and level of the guests. The vessel is fully equipped for scuba diving and snorkeling excursions. Guests can enjoy the diverse range of activities such as scuba diving, snorkelling, kayaking, hiking and much more.


Cabin

Nataraja features 4 guest cabins, it can welcome up to 9 adults and 4 kids.

All cabins have ensuite bathrooms with basic toiletries, air-conditioning, storage area, 220V power plugs.

1 Master Cabin:
Located at the stern of the boat and has a privilege access to the sea and the stern of the yacht. Size 25 sqm, this cabin comes with a double bed, and two extra single beds in bunk style. There are two large seaview windows opening onto the swim platform.

3 Standard Cabins:
Located at the front on the lower deck. Each cabin comes with a double bed and an extra narrow bed suitable for children or teenagers, as well as portholes.


Diving

  • Up to 3 dives daily, depending on conditions and itinerary.
  • 1 - 2 dives will be provided on the day of embarkation.
  • 1 - 2 dives will be provided on the day before disembarkation.
  • No dive will be provided on the day of disembarkation.
  • All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.
  • Snorkeling gears, Sea Kayaks can be use free of charge.

Arcipelago di Alor

Best time for diving
April to November, as this is when both visibility and weather are at their best, while September is the best time to spot Mola Mola. The currents usually are strongest in October and November, making conditions more challenging. From late December until early March, Alor is usually considered as off-season due to the rainy season.

About temperatures
Air : winter months are between 26°C - 29°C, summer months are between 27°C - 32°C.
Sea : between 25°C - 27°C from March to April & October to November, between 27°C - 30°C from May to September. Thermoclines are common year round, the water can drop at times to 22°C or lower.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 5 mm full wetsuit. If you get cold easily, we recommend also bring gloves and a hood, or even a 7 mm full wetsuit.

Diver requirement
Suitable for all levels of diver from beginners to experienced. However, in the open blue, the current can be strong at times, so divers should to be comfortable with their skills. Embarkation / Disembarkation
Alor liveaboard trips are usually from Maumere to Maumere, guests need to fly to Maumere airport (MOF).
However, some liveaboards often combine Alor with other destinations like Komodo, Banda Sea, Raja Ampat. Then you might only need to arrive or depart from Maumere.

Visa Requirements
Indonesia offers a free visa on arrival service for many nationalities which allows visitors to stay in the country for up to 30 days. A list of countries that are eligible for visa on arrival can be found on the Indonesian Government's Directorate General of Immigration.

Please note: Immigration officials in Indonesia may ask for proof of onward travel (e.g. a return or onward air ticket).

Vaccinations
Yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travellers over the age of 9 months arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission.

Money Matters
The local currency is Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), all liveaboards accept cash payments in USD.
Rupiah can be purchased from all major banks and exchange outlets. Credit and debit cards are also accepted in major hotels, restaurants & shops.

Drones
There are very few restrictions on the use of drones for photography purposes within Indonesia. Please check Drone laws in Indonesia for details.

Raja Ampat

Periodo : La stagione per le crociere e' tutto l'anno. La migliore stagione e' da dicembre a marzo con la miglior visibilita'. Molte barche evitano Raja Ampat da meta' luglio a meta' settembre a causa della probabilita' di trovare forte vento con onde e pioggia.

Clima : Raja Ampat si trova all'equatore ed ha un clima caldo ed umido. La temperatura dell'aria e' costante con 31 gradi di massima il giorno e 24 gradi la notte, l'umidita' media e' dell'83%.

Acqua : La temperatura dell'acqua e' abbastanza costante e calda tra i 27 e 29 gradi.

Abbigliamento : Vestiti leggeri e che vi protegga dai raggi solari ed una giacca a vento nel caso di pioggia e per la sera.

Voli : La citta' di Sorong in Papua Occidentale e' la porta d'ingresso per Raja Ampat, i voli arrivano da Jakarta, Depansar, Bali e Makassar.

Acqua : Temperatura dell'acqua a sud e' di media a 24 gradi mentre a nord e' di 29 gradi.

Abbigliamento : Vestiti leggeri e che vi protegga dai raggi solari ed una giacca per la sera.

Mare di Banda

Best time for diving
October to November & March to April, the seas are generally calmer during these months and in October to November there is higher chance to see hammerhead sharks. From May to August the surface conditions can get quite rough.

The visibility is generally good to excellent in Banda Sea areas, except in Ambon bay and in other bays for critter dives. Currents are low to moderate on most of the sites, however, strong currents may occur at times.

About temperatures
Air : range between 25°C - 31°C year-round.
Sea : range between 26°C - 29°C year-round.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 - 5 mm full wetsuit throughout the year.

Diver requirement
