Boat
Miss Moon is a 4 meters wide and 18 meters long budget friendly dive liveaboard with cozy vibes, cruise at 8 knots per hour, and it only hosts maximum of 10 divers aboard each trip, it offers comfortable and spacious spaces with personalized service from experienced and friendly dive and boat crew.
Miss Moon provides a large open dining area/communal and relaxing area towards the stern of the vessel on the upper deck, with 5 burner BBQ equipment, a flatscreen TV, sound system, comfortable sofas, dining tables with charis. And There is a snack bar which provides cold drinks, fresh fruits, coffee, snacks. This is a place where you may read a book, or have a cup of tea or coffee in between dives.
At the front of the upper deck, there’s also a nice garden sundeck with green grass floor and mastresses for snoozing in the sea breeze.
Miss Moon will departs from Ranong, which is further north on Thailand’s west coast, on the Thai/Myanmar border. So the boat has the advantage to run shorter trips to Similan or Myanmar that the Phuket based boats can't offer.
For guests coming from Bangkok, Surat Thani, or Chumphon who want to save time and money, this boat can be the great choice. While for those coming from Phuket, will be more difficult to reach Ranong than to Khao Lak.

Miss Moon has 5 guest cabins in total, it can accomoodate up to 10 guests per trip:
All cabin are located on the main deck, all cabins will use the shared bathrooms on board.

Located on the main deck, comes with one big double bed and one bunk bed, ensuite bathroom, A/C, flat sceen tv and 2 fans, window.
1 Double Cabin:
Located on the main deck, comes with one big double bed and one bunk bed, A/C, 2 fans, window.
3 Twin Cabins:
Located on the main deck, comes with 2 bunk beds, 2 fans and window
2 Shared Bathrooms:

Itinerari (V.O)
Similan Islands | 4 Days / 3 Night 11 Dives
Surin Island, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock
Day 1: Meeting time in our Dive Shop 13.00 where we will have time to try equipment before we go to our boat. We will leave from Ranong around 16.00. It’s also possible to get picked up at Koh Phayam around 19.00. After everybody is on board we will leave to Surin Island.
Day 2: The first day will be concentrated around Surin Island. We will start out at Koh Chi in the north of Surin Island and go down to the southern part of Surin Island where we will make 2 quite enjoyable drift dives… After the third dive we will have time to visit the Sea Gypsies on Surin Island. The night dive will be around 20.00. There is an opportunity to see Jenkins Stingray, Guitar Fish, Turtles, Reef Sharks, Humphead Parrotfish, Manta Ray, Eagle Ray, Sailfish etc.. Surin Island is the place in Thailand with the biggest variation of underwater life. After dinner the boat will leave to Koh Bon.
Day 3: At Koh Bon we will make 2 dives, one at the island and one at Koh Bon Pinnacle. The main attraction here is Manta Rays and there can be many… There is also a very good chance for Whale Shark and lot of Zebra Sharks. After playing with Manta’s we will go to Koh Tachai Pinnacle which also provides great opportunity for Manta and Whale Shark. After the night dive, it's time for barbecue...
Day 4: Richelieu Rock can be described as a big aquarium. Here we find more or less everything … It’s also one of the places in Thailand where you will have the biggest chance to see Whale Shark. We will make 3 dives here before we are heading back to Ranong. We will arrive on Koh Phayam around 18.00 and Ranong 20.30.
Myanmar | 8 Days / 7 Night 26 Dives
Burma Banks, Caven Point, Shark Cave, Black Rock, North Twin, Seafan Forrest, Western Rocky, Volcano etc..
Day 1: Meeting time in our Dive Shop 12.00 where we will have time to try equipment before we goto our boat. Before departure comes the Thai emigration on board and will stamp us out of Thailand. Then the boat will take us to Kaw Thoung where we will get visa for Burma. Then it's departure to the first dive site High Rock. If we are in good time there will be opportunity for a night dive.
Day 2: 1 dive at High Rock which is one of the best Macro spots. Here we can find all the special things like Pipefish, Pineapple Fish, Frogfish, Sea Horses and many different species of Nudibranchs. 1 dive at Stewart Island. Afternoon and night dive at “little” Tower Rock. Opportunity to see Grey Reef shark, Nurse Shark and a lots of small things like Sea Horses, Frogfish, Ghost Pipefish and...
Day 3: Around Shark Cave we have 4 dive sites, so we will stay here the whole day. Before the night dive we will find a bounty beach where we can get some sand between our toes. Opportunity to see Grey Reef shark, Nurse Shark (and they are big…) and a lots of small things like Sea Horses, Frogfish, Ghost Pipefish and...
Day 4: Black Rock is a small rock out in open sea. Here we are going for big stuff, like Sharks, Rays, Whale Shark, Eagle Ray and whatever is passing…
Day 5: We start out with 2 dives at North Twin Plato and 1 dive at North twin Reef. Night dive at South Twin. Chance to see Manta Ray, Eagle Ray, Whale Shark, Grey Reef Shark, Nurse Shark and lots of small things…
Day 6: Coming up from 400 meter of water you have Burma Banks (Roe Bank, Heckford Bank, Corel Bank and Silvertip Bank). Here you will have a very good visibility and again we will go for the big stuff. Chance to see Manta Ray, Eagle Ray, Whale Shark, Grey Reef Shark, Nurse Shark, Silvertip and whales.
Day 7: 1 dive at Seafan Forrest and 3 dives at Western Rocky. Western Rocky which is one of the best dive sites in Burma. One of the highlights is a tunnel (cave) at 20 meters depth that goes all the way through the island. There are good chances of seeing Bowmouth Guitar Fish, Whale Shark, Various shark species Harlequin Shrimp, Frogfish and Sea Horses and a lot of lobsters…
Day 8: The first dive goes into a volcano where a group of black tip sharks likes to hang around… If we are allowed we will take a dive at the Bird's Nest which is a giant cave which is only accessible underwater. After the last dive we will head back toward Kaw Thoung where there will be opportunity for shopping. Once we got our passports back by the Burmese authorities, we will sail back to Thailand where we get a new visa.

Periodo : Le crociere sono disponibili solo durante la stagione da novembre all'inizio di maggio quando il parco e' aperto.
Visto : La maggior parte delle nazionalita' non necessita' un visto se si rimane meno di 30 giorni, alcune nazionalita' ricevono solo 15 giorni di permesso con 1000 Bath di tasse. Contattate l'ambasciata o consolato piu' vicino per maggiori informazioni.
Clima : La stagione secca e' da novembre ad inizio maggio con i mesi piu' caldi di aprile e maggio. Il monsone delle piogge e' da Maggio a settembre. Temperatura media intorno ai 28 gradi.
Acqua : La temperatura media dell'acqua e' dai 27 gradi in su', ma puo' scendere a 25 gradi quando s'incontrano dei termoclini.
Abbigliamento : Vestiti leggeri sono raccomandati tutto l'anno.

Clima : La stagione asciutta va da novembre a maggio, con i mesi piu' caldi di aprile e maggio. Il monsone umido e' da giugno fino ad ottobre. La temperatura media e' di 28 gradi.

Valuta : La valuta locale e' il Kiat, pronunciato "chut/chat". Gli stranieri devono pagare in US Dollars gli hotel le attrazioni turistiche, biglietti aerei e del treno, invece in valuta Kyat si pagano il cibo, le mance, trishaw...Tutti i pagamenti a bordo sono in USD o Euro.
