Barca
Indo Siren e' stata costruita nel 2010 e varata nel 2011, lunga ben 40 metri e larga 10 e' una goletta classica indonesiana chiamata in lingua locale Phinisi e costruita con legni particolarmente duri come il teak, la barca appartiene alla flotta della compagnia Siren.
Indo Siren ha un bel salone sul ponte principale con aria condizionata, cocktail bar, poltrone, televisore, lettore DVD, film, libri e giochi.
All'esterno della sala c'e' una zona all'aperto coperta da un tendalino dove si possono gustare i pasti serviti a buffet, i clienti possono servirsi da soli per tutto il giorno e la notte con bevande analcoliche, acqua, caffe', te' e merende.
Per color che a mano il sole su un ponte superiore c'e' una zona dedicata a loro con delle comodissime sdraie con cuscino.
Indo Siren ha un ponte diving coperto dove ogni subacqueo ha la sua postazione personale dove riporre l'attrezzatura, ci sono bombole, pesi, cinture, compressori per la ricarica ed una zona lavoro per lavare, ricaricare e preparare le foto/videocamere. I clienti hanno a disposizione gratuitamente l'attrezzatura composta da maschera, erogatori, GAV, muta 3mm corta, pinne e pedagno.
Cabine
Indo Siren ha 8 comode cabine tutte sul ponte inferiore che ospitano un massimo di 16 subacquei.
Tutte le cabine hanno bagno privato con doccia calda, aria condizionata, cassetti, TV/DVD, asciugacapelli, spine e corrente a 220 volt.

Itinerari (V.O)
Diving in Indonesia is so varied and there is plenty to appeal to even the most seasoned diver, from muck diving and the fast paced currents around Komodo to the soft corals and colourful fish dives in Raja Ampat or discover new sites in off shore islands of the Banda sea. You can see many shark & ray species along the way including white tip, grey reef and wobbegongs as well as tiny critters and a sheer diversity of fish. Raja Ampat
November - June, 10 nights
Departing from Sorong the S/Y Indo Siren cruises southwards towards Misool, stopping for "muck" dives on the dark sand slopes of Batanta where its critters galore! We then spent up to 3 days diving a variety of sites in the Misool area for their stunning corals, including Boo Windows and Gorgonian Passage where sea fans dominate the scenery. Heading back northwards we dive around Fam Penemu & Yangeffo islands. Here we find the site of Citrus Ridge, where carpets of brightly coloured soft corals can be found close to the surface which, illuminated by natural sunlight, make this dive site spectacularly beautiful.
indo-wobbegongThere is time for snorkelling in the mangroves and a visit to tiny Airborek Island along with a dusk dive at the pier before heading on to Mansuar for some manta ray action at Manta Sandy. In the Dampier Strait there are the fish and lots of them, in more shapes and sizes than anywhere else in the world. Not only are there numerous species, but all the levels of the food chain are well represented – from pygmy seahorses to larger pelagics. The most famous sites include Cape Kri and Sardine where speedy drifts can be expected. The reefs in Raja Ampat just buzz with life! Manta rays, wobbegong sharks and epaulette sharks can all be found in the waters of the Four Kings.
Komodo
May - November, 10 nights
Departing Bima, Sumbubwa Island, Just a short flight from Bali, the S/Y Indo Siren's first stop on this 10 night diving adventure, is the muck dive spot of the "Unusual Suspects", in Bima Bay. We spend the night here before sailing on to Sangeang Island with its dark volcanic sand or Gili Banta. By the third day we are diving within the Komodo National Park in the areas of Gilli Lawa Laut and Batu Bolong where strong currents can be experienced, bringing with them grey reef and white tip sharks and schools of snappers and fusileers.
Our Indonesia Liveaboards stop at either Rincaor Komodo islands to make a walk with the dragons before cruising southwards to Nusa Kode where in the shelter of Horseshoe Bay are numerous dive sites incluing Cannibal Rock, Torpedo Alley and Yellow Wall. Across the strait on the south of Komodo Island we spend the day diving the aptly named Manta Alley before returning northwards once again to dive sites that were not viisted during the southward journey. Our final day is spent in Bima Bay, where the calm waters offer the perfect spot for some kayaking or water skiing.
Banda Sea
Only in October and May, 10 to 14 nights
Flores to Raja Ampat - 14 nights
Departing from Maumere, the first stop on this S/Y Indo Siren diving safari is Adunara Island where we pass through the narrow channel to dive the southern sites of the Lesser Sunda Islands. We travel northwards through the Pantar Strait to Pulau Pura before heading into the Banda Sea and to the island of Gungung Api, known for its abundance of sea snakes and excellent fish life. Lucipara atolls are a fantastic place for large pelagic encounters and we spend 1 day here before cruising onwards to Banda Neira and Pulau Koon. Our final diving days are spent in the Raja Ampat region around Misool and the Fiabacet Islands. Disembarkation on day 15 is in Sorong.
Raja Ampat to Ambon - 10 nights
Departing from Sorong our first stop on this 10 night diving adventure are the sites of Waigeo- where manta rays are commonly seen coming in to be cleaned. S/Y Indo Siren then moves onwards to dive Misool and the Fiabacet Islands, known for their fantastic and diverse corals that attract a wide assortment of marine life. Departing the Raja Ampat region we pass through the rich channel of Koon Island and into the Banda Sea. Dive at Banda Neira and Pula Nusa Laut before our final day spent in the harbour of Ambon. Disembark at Laha airport on day 11

Arcipelago di Alor
Best time for diving
April to November, as this is when both visibility and weather are at their best, while September is the best time to spot Mola Mola. The currents usually are strongest in October and November, making conditions more challenging. From late December until early March, Alor is usually considered as off-season due to the rainy season.
About temperatures
Air : winter months are between 26°C - 29°C, summer months are between 27°C - 32°C.
Sea : between 25°C - 27°C from March to April & October to November, between 27°C - 30°C from May to September. Thermoclines are common year round, the water can drop at times to 22°C or lower.
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 5 mm full wetsuit. If you get cold easily, we recommend also bring gloves and a hood, or even a 7 mm full wetsuit.
Diver requirement
Suitable for all levels of diver from beginners to experienced. However, in the open blue, the current can be strong at times, so divers should to be comfortable with their skills. Embarkation / Disembarkation
Alor liveaboard trips are usually from Maumere to Maumere, guests need to fly to Maumere airport (MOF).
However, some liveaboards often combine Alor with other destinations like Komodo, Banda Sea, Raja Ampat. Then you might only need to arrive or depart from Maumere.
Visa Requirements
Indonesia offers a free visa on arrival service for many nationalities which allows visitors to stay in the country for up to 30 days. A list of countries that are eligible for visa on arrival can be found on the Indonesian Government's Directorate General of Immigration.

Yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travellers over the age of 9 months arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission.

Baia di Triton
Best time for diving
November to April, most liveaboards visit Triton Bay during the Raja Ampat diving season, as from June the winds and rain can cause unpleasant sea conditions. However, rain is possible in West Papua anytime, not just in rainy season.
Some sites are subject to strong currents here, and the visibility in Triton Bay might change abruptly. Rarely exceeding 20 meters, it can lower to less than 10 meters, especially after a lot of raining in Triton Bay. Most of diving is shallow dives, no more than 35 meters.
About temperatures
Air : generally ranges between 25°C - 31°C year-round.
Sea : averaging around 26°C - 27°C from May to October, 29°C - 30°C from November to April.
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 mm full wetsuit for November to April, a 5 mm full wetsuit for May to October.
Diver requirement
Suitable for most divers, however, on a number of sites in Triton Bay, a certain level of currents is necessary to attract interesting fish activities. So divers should be ok with the currents. You can find out more informations about diving in Wakatobi here : Triton Bay

The nearby airport is Kaimana airport (KNG) in West Papua. However, liveaboards may utilize different ports depends on the itinerary, as often liveaboard trips will combine Triton Bay with other destinations like Raja Ampat, Banda Sea, so please ask our agent to know the exact port for your trip.

Halmahera
Best time for diving
October to November and March to May, Halmahera can be dived all year round, but due to the monsoon season, from June to September it can be windy and the sea can be rough. And from December to February is considered as the rainy season.
Visibility is usually very good, ranging from 20-30 meters, Inside the bays the visibility may be less. Currents can be strong in the straits, weak in the areas protected by the islands.

Sea : it is warm all year round, about 27°C - 31°C
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 mm full wetsuit throughout the year.
Diver requirement

Depending on which itinerary you choose, the embarkation / disembarkation can be in Bitung > Manado (MDC), Ternate (TTE), Bacan (LAH/WUB), or Morotai (OTI). The international airport with the best connections is Jakarta (CGK). You can also route through Bali (DPS) if you prefer.
However, some liveaboard trips will combine Halmahera with other destinations like Sulawesi (Lembeh), Raja Ampat, then the embarkation and disembarkation will be different. So please ask our agent to know the exact port for your trip.

Mare di Banda
Best time for diving
October to November & March to April, the seas are generally calmer during these months and in October to November there is higher chance to see hammerhead sharks. From May to August the surface conditions can get quite rough.
The visibility is generally good to excellent in Banda Sea areas, except in Ambon bay and in other bays for critter dives. Currents are low to moderate on most of the sites, however, strong currents may occur at times.

Air : range between 25°C - 31°C year-round.
Sea : range between 26°C - 29°C year-round.
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 - 5 mm full wetsuit throughout the year.
Diver requirement

The embarkation / disembarkation can be in Ambon (AMQ), Kaimana (KNG), Maumere (MOF), Sorong (SOQ), Waisai (RJM), Saumalaki (SXK) etc. As some of the Banda Sea trip will combine with other destinations like Raja Ampat, Halmahera, Triton Bay. So please ask our agent to know the exact port for your trip.
Visa Requirements
Indonesia offers a free visa on arrival service for many nationalities which allows visitors to stay in the country for up to 30 days. A list of countries that are eligible for visa on arrival can be found on the Indonesian Government's Directorate General of Immigration.
Please note: Immigration officials in Indonesia may ask for proof of onward travel (e.g. a return or onward air ticket).
Vaccinations
Yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travellers over the age of 9 months arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission.
Money Matters
The local currency is Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), all liveaboards accept cash payments in USD.
Rupiah can be purchased from all major banks and exchange outlets. Credit and debit cards are also accepted in major hotels, restaurants & shops.
Drones
There are very few restrictions on the use of drones for photography purposes within Indonesia. Please check Drone laws in Indonesia for details.
Extending your holiday
